This desert retreat was led by five-time Grammy award-winning producer, engineer, and mixer Ross Hogarth, who has helmed an impressive variety of musical projects with a vast array of artists over the past four decades. His credits include production and mixing work with The Black Crowes, Ziggy Marley, Van Halen, R.E.M., The Bronx, Mötley Crüe, Flogging Molly, Jewel, Keb’Mo’, Doobie Brothers, Melissa Etheridge, DevilDriver, Edgar Winter, Def Leppard, and many more. Over four days at Gatos Trail recording studio in Joshua Tree, Ross walked participants through his entire workflow — arranging, tracking, producing, and mixing Tristan Lake Leabu and his band — while sharing career insights, session stories, and his favorite techniques.
